Even in the Meowverse, sometimes things don’t land purrfectly. Here’s how we handle returns:

 Store returns (30 days)

  • You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.
    To be eligible, the item must be unused, in the same condition, with original packaging and tags/labels intact. You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Not eligible: custom/commissioned originals, personalized items, digital gift cards, items marked final sale.
  • Condition checks: scuffs, scratches, or missing packaging may reduce or void eligibility.

EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

  • If your order ships into the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Items must be returned unused, in original condition and packaging. This right does not apply to custom/commissioned artwork or personalized pieces.
  • The 14-day withdrawal right is your baseline legal protection. Our 30-day store return window is an extra courtesy for eligible items.

How to start a return

Email info@quirkycat.art with your order number and what you’d like to return.
We’ll confirm eligibility and send instructions (and a return label if applicable).

Damaged or incorrect items

If something arrives damaged or incorrect, email info@quirkycat.art within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and item. We’ll sort it: replacement, refund, or store credit depending on the case.

Exchanges

Fastest route: return the item (once approved) and place a new order for what you want.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm approval by email.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank/card may need extra time to post it.
If it’s been 15 business days since approval and you don’t see it, contact us at info@quirkycat.art.

Costs

  • Return shipping: paid by the customer unless we made a mistake or the item arrived damaged/defective.
  • Original shipping fees: non-refundable (unless we made a mistake).

Responsibility in transit: please use trackable shipping; we’re not liable for returns lost in transit.

Product-specific notes

  • Kapa prints: material is more delicate—package carefully and consider a rigid mailer.
  • Acrylic glass prints: heavier and scratch-prone—use soft wrap and rigid protection.
  • Original paintings: ship in original protective materials or equivalent; insure the shipment.
